Beeswax Candle Workshop

Join Haley with Herbal Meadows Botanicals and craft your own 6 ounce beeswax candle. We will discuss the medicinal properties of beeswax and why burning beeswax candles are a healthy alternative to other waxes used to make candles. 

• Every participant will weigh and melt their own beeswax, learn to set the wick and pour their own candle in a half pint mason jar. Candle will burn approximately 30 hours

• Melting beeswax releases serotonin in your brain. Lets get happy and make some candles!

• Beeswax candles remove dust, mold & pollen out of the air

• We will be using local beeswax, hemp wicks and enjoying samples of tea and honey

In this workshop we will be using items that could cause allergic reactions. Though we will be tasting a wide variety of herbs, plants and honey in this workshop; they are all optional.
