About the event

Join Haley from Herbal Meadows Botanical as she demonstrates how to make your own salve using locally sourced beewsax from her farm. We will learn which are the best native plants to combine with the oils, butters and beeswax to create a medicinal grade salve. You will be able to mix and create 3 seperate 1 ounce salves that you are able to keep or gift to friends and family. Taking with you the knowledge to continue making salves for years to come! This is a great workshop to try with friends, family and co-workers. Join Haley for the evening and explore the several items available for purchase including hand crafted beeswax candles, local sourced honey and apothecary kits and more!

To add to the festivities Ashley English of Natures Gaze Gallery will be in attendance displaying her exclusive collection correlated for glo studio. She has captured remarkable images of our beautiful state of Michigan as well as Colorado, Georgia and Tennessee throughout her travels. Her photographs are sure to leave you in awe and bring calmness and serenity to your decor or make a remarkable gift. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and Ashley's photographs will speak to you for years to come!

We also have the talented Pittsburgh-based artist Nicole Franssim creations on display. Her creative handcrafted designs are all one of a kind and custom made. Nicole (franssim) is a self-taught artist who grew up in the Monongahela River valley of Pennsylvania. She works primarily with crocheted plastic bags which are "harvested" and processed into an alternative medium, PLARN (plastic yarn), that is used to create unique sculptures. By drawing inspiration from nature, cartoons, folk art and the Appalachian landscape, Nicole creates works of art that reflect life around her while also utilizing a problematic material. This has enabled her to repurpose plastic and keep it out of landfills and oceans. This is her first time showing her creations in Michigan and are exclusively available at glo studio.

No party is complete without festive mocktails! Our very own Macy will be the featured mixologist of the evening. She will be creating custom mocktails and memories. So call your friends, co-workers, neighbors and even your mom because there is limited availability. Purchase your workshop ticket today at goingtoglo.com
